People are so NiceDecember 22nd, 2009Near the end of a recent party, When I found out that my camera wasn’t working, the guest that I was drawing offered his phone for a photo - and he emailed it right over to me. Wow - so capable. And so fine.
To Hire this Artist: FlexibleDecember 22nd, 2009Upscale Corporate Holiday Party. I was glad I brought my lights. (It was very dark in there). Good set-up. Yes. But I was needed to walk the floor - roaming Caricatures for some of the time. Roaming Caricatures in the Dark. Now, Roaming Caricatures are a little different than seated Caricatures - because I draw them while standing up and holding all my supplies. So they’re usually simpler black/white pictures. Since this party needed constant ‘adjustment’, I sure am glad that I’ve had a lot of experience. So I was able to To Hire this Artist: December - Party Party and Party. Everybody wants to be invited. To Be or Not To BeNovember 29th, 2009This picture was Sooo hard for me. To stick to my original idea of The vision - what I want to draw - that’s the art - that’s the part that some people fake - never even knowing what to see - how to see it. And then, even if they could imagine it, not pushing themselves to draw that vision. But I have drive. I’m really interested. For myself. I want to be inspired - I want to find my own ideas. And I want to figure out how to bring them to fruition. Even if other (plainer) pictures would be passable since nobody else knows an Artist’s visions. They don’t know what’s inside us, or if there even Is anything there. Without that, the Artist is just a sham. Just like nobody else really knows what we think - what we feel. Unless we choose to admit our truths. To be true to ourselves. Our feelings. Our desires. Our visions. Sometimes it’s harder than other times. Sometimes we don’t feel inspired. I choose to really live the full life - to take advantage of all the time I have - To Hire this Artist: |
