Getting my feet wet for tomorrow. Okay I practiced drawing Fashion Sketches on Large-Sized People. The Plus Department. For tomorrow's Event. I wanted to practice ~ Because my Client sent me an email just before I left for the Dentist today ~ with Samples of How she wants me to use the Colored Markers.
I didn't know I needed Colored Markers for this last minute Event. While I do feel like Markers would usually be the way to go on Fashion Sketches, I don't automatically have them in my Studio. Because I Usually do Caricatures. With Color Sticks. I only handle about One Fashion Sketch Event per Month. And I'm usually given enough time to go out and buy Fresh Juicy Markers just before the Event. I like that.
Luckily, I did have some decent Colored Markers here. Limited Colors, but enough to handle tomorrow's Event. So I brought them along to the Dentist ~ planning on checking out my Client's instructions while I was in the Waiting Room.
But the Dentist didn't keep me waiting at all. I had arrived late to the Dentist because I had to look for my Markers and change some other things that I had already prepared for tomorrow's
Client. Who had just sent me last minute changes oh.
But things always turn out well for me (and by extension, they turn out well for my Clients also). There was a Huge Thunderstorm as soon as I finished at the Dentist. I waited for it to pass ~ for Safer Driving. I just sat in my car drawing with the Markers that I had brought along. I just Found some time to get ready to handle these last-minute instructions. There was nothing else that I wanted to do at that time. I'll post those pictures here. Two slightly Zoftik Women. (Then I took a break to watch a You Tube. Nothing serious, but I drew a Fashion Sketch of a skinny Chiropractor. I do hope tomorrow's Guests actually wear some Designer type FFASHEEYONSS
I might have felt scared ~ from the LOUD THUNDER CRACKING through the Rain Deluge. Right after leaving the dentist ~ still numb from the Novacaine Experience because of all the Drilling and Popping and Muchering and Shots. But I wasn't. It felt Calm and Peaceful in my Car in comparison to the Storm that swirled around it.
It sure is helpful that I Trust the Lord to lead me along
