Caricature Express

Here’s some photos I snapped while I was working at
The Painter’s Restaurant. It was such a Fun place
for doing Party Art. Wall to ceiling Artwork. To my
eye, I’d say that most of it looked like unprofessional
work - reminded me of being in High School. But it
made for an excellent atmosphere. So much stuff
was actually intriguing to look at it all. I loved it there

I work at all sorts of places - restaurants, bars, catering halls,
luxurious private homes, small backyards…. People enjoying
their people and their lives - me just helping that along -
wherever they are. I particularly liked the atmosphere
at the restaurant where I drew these Caricatures.
I plan on posting photos that I took of the restaurant
later.

Aw, it really was sweet.
Sixteen-year-olds are not only interesting to look at -
I also really like being with them. So full of hopes and dreams.

I really try to discourage this -
someone asking me to draw from a photo at a party.
Mostly because it takes me away from relating to the guests -
takes me away from the Entertainment part of my work.

But if it’s my hostess who asks, well, it’s her time to use
as she wants. Here’s a Caricature that I drew from a photo
at a recent Party. The photo, in these instances, is usually
too hard to see; but this time I do like what I drew:
