No One Answer

Posted Aug 2017

But Wait. I changed my mind. What I like best about this evening's studies is that that there is No One Answer. Other than to Start with the Simple Direct Style. If there's no reason to Start some other way.

I'm feeling like it's a Shared Experience. To be Constantly Adjusted. Based on how I'm feeling about my Artwork And how the Guest is feeling about my Artwork. If I'm feeling like something should be different in the picture I just drew, I will take that in mind when I choose my approach for the next picture.

For now, I'd say that I Like This One ~ this SECOND Exaggerated picture best. That's my choice. Zhe Ahrt.

The Answer Is

The Answer is........ Start a gig with Safe Pictures. Then swing into xAGerations (skipping the timid crap). And only pull back if necessary. It's the same as being a Comedian or an Actress. It's all about the Timing.

xAGerations ~ I like that. It's My Own exaggerations. AG - Alison Gelbman. Alison Gelbman Exaggerations.

I GOT IT! THE SOLUTION TO MY ARTISTIC INSECURITY! I've always known how to get into the Zone.... How to Perform. So the Question that haunted me for so many years wasn't 'What to Draw?" It was "What to Perform!" I got it! And the Answer is............ coming soon. I gotta go cook dinner right now. Chilean Sea Bass, Salmon, Bananas, and Bell Peppers

Approach

Posted Aug 2017

Practicing for tomorrow's #Corporate Gig-On-A-Boat. Pre-experiencing different approaches. I drew these practice #CARICATURES from one reference photo that i found online. The first one was Direct. Then I tried to see how I might turn it to be 3/4 in my drawing even if the person was looking directly at me (as in the photo reference). In the 3rd picture, I loosened up my lines and i felt freer to break-out-of-the-box.

It's all good ~ but I feel like it's best not to 2nd guess myself. The first picture of the girl is probably the best one
