Gifts for the Athletes You Know

This client wanted me to design Caricatures for his daughters.

He told me that one of them should be in a basketball uniform while cheerleading and doing splits.

And the other one should be in a basketball uniform while playing lacrosse and running.

What a good idea. Hanging up pictures like these are sure to encourage the girls to do healthy activities confidently. I feel happy that my Caricatures can be Useful. Beneficial.

CarCaricatures

Posted Feb 2014

Some people have the best ideas. When I told my friend Jake that I make Butticatures, he suggested that I should also make CAR-icatures. Car Caricatures. Of cars.

Hey! I've already done that! I've drawn Caricatures of practically every thing at some point or other. Then, when a Valentine's Day client was describing her boyfriend's Strong interest in his car, well... This IS a good idea. I suggested a CARicature including 'his muscle car' (her words, not mine).

As she requested, now I've put together some Samples of CARicatures that I pulled from elsewhere in my blog. Makes me wonder about my previous clients. Like, whatever happened to the man who was 'driving to new adventures' in his Retirement Caricature. And whatever happened with the Coloring Book that I created for that other client. And and.... so many people in that we meet. So many interesting people.

Christmas Presents

Posted Nov 2012

A while back, I had posted about a fun afternoon that I spent with a fun family who wanted the same few children drawn several times. I finally got a chance to post the rest of the pictures now. Amazing how things work out ~ because it's appropo to post them now ~ just before Christmas. This job had been to make a few Christmas presents for them to give out ~ to Grandparents, Aunts/Uncles......

BTW, the last photo shows the young gentleman who made me laugh. While I was finishing up, he put my big equipment onto his own back to help me out to the car. It was so funny

This request was funny

Posted Jul 2011

Oh - Thousands of pictures pile up here in my Studio. I was just enjoying this one that popped up - It was a Studio piece that I did over a year ago. I remember doing it well - the way I enjoyed the face that my client asked me to work with - the scene my client requested - the adorable feet I designed for her......

BTW - I had the woman's name and information about her company written in the oval at the bottom of the picture. I just covered up the information to protect her privacy.
