Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Party

Posted 25 days ago

Just by adding a Professional Party Artist to the mix ~ you've not only given your Guests something Unique, but you've also given them a 'Conversation Starter' aaaannnnd a boost that will encourage them to 'Remember Your Celebration even After they leave the Party. Sometimes even Years After your Party. Each Party is Unique ~ The type of Experience you offer Your Guests depends on which Images you offer. Just like you can choose a Pizza Party Or an Elegant Dinner Party, you can also choose Fun CARICATURES Or Insightful CALLIGRAPHY/GRAFFITI WORDS/NAMES, etc. It's more internalized by the Guests when the Party Image becomes part of their own image. They can feel like an integral part of the Party that You Designed.

CARICATURES

DIGITAL CARICATURES

FACE PAINTING

TEMPORARY FREEHAND TATTOOS (including Freehand Glitter Tattoos)

BALLOONS

CALLIGRAPHY/GRAFFITI WORDS/NAMES

FASHION SKETCHES

CARICATURES and DIGITAL CARICATURES and FASHION SKETCHES and CALLIGRAPHY/GRAFFITI WORDS/NAMES all go home with Your Guests as Party Favors. They are frequently hung on the Wall in your Friends' Homes. Your Guests will probably remember ~ for as long as the picture is part of their Every-Day awareness ~ what they were Celebrating when they got it. And when you hire your Party Art, you can even order a logo to be included for a small extra charge. That's something like:

had fun at
(Name)'s Party

(Name)'s Birthday Party
Date

fine art from
(Name)'s Party

The BALLOONS ~ so much a part of a Party ~ well, they don't last as long. But when they're created On the Spot ~ During the Party ~ it's so much more interactive than just putting up a few BALLOONS. When the BALLOONS are created right At the Party, the Guests will feel like they're more than just decorations. Your Guests will feel like they are holding Party in their hands. And afterwards ~ we are intrigued to ask people where they've been if we see them walking home with the Party Balloons. Which, well, they only last as long as they will last. Here are some Samples of Alison's BALLOONS:

FACE PAINTING ~ Oh so Special when it's done right. You Guests can feel oh so Special when they're 'transformed' with the Power of their own images. Which can last all day (or until they decide to wash them off ~ Alison's FACE PAINTING washes off easily with soap and water). Here are some Samples of Alison's FACE PAINTINGS:

TEMPORARY FREEHAND TATTOOS (including Freehand Digital Tattoos) ~ Oh ~ you can't imagine how Glamorous and Special you can feel with one of these magnificent decorations until you've had a Real one done. They rest on the Surface of the skin, and can last about a week ~ lingering joy from Your Event every time your Guests notice their very own TEMPORARY FREEHAND TATTOOS. An experience they're not likely to have any other time. Alison's TEMPORARY FREEHAND TATTOOS look great while they're At the Party. And Your Guests can be blown away by the Wow when they see them the next day Out in the Sun! Your Party is the Special One. Here are some Samples of Alison's TEMPORARY FREEHAND TATTOOS:

That's Seven Different Choices you have to design Your Party. Let Your Choice Define Your Party. Let Your Choice of which Type of Party Art add the Character that you're hoping of for Your Party.

I can visualize 3/4 view even if I'm shown Front View

Posted 30 days ago

It's hard to do, but I can do it.

Tonight I wanted to hone my clarification between Tame Caricatures and Exaggerated Caricatures. I'm really developing a very good ability to control this. I set out to draw Tame Caricatures, and they stayed that way. I drew Tame Caricatures. Based on some Photos that I had taken at Events.

But they were all Front Views. When we're involved with people, they have a habit of turning straight toward us. I wondered if I could draw 3/4 view Caricatures even if a person was looking directly at me. It's hard ~ takes a little more time and effort if the Guest doesn't sit in 3/4 view when I want to draw 3/4 view. But I can do it!

Hmmm..... Sometimes the Caricature looks better in the Front View, and sometimes it looks better in the 3/4 View. I feel like the best way to use this skill (if I have the nerve to do it at a Party) ~ is to choose the easiest way to get a good Caricature. I would only choose to draw a Different View than the one that I actually see ~ If I don't feel like the Front View has anything interesting in it. Or if I'm getting tired of drawing Front Views.

I'll frequently make Changes at intervals throughout the Event to keep myself interested. Because if the Artist isn't interested in what she's drawing, usually nobody else will be either. This could be just one more of the many different things that I change up when needed.

Crapitiolios!

Posted 30 days ago

CRAPITIOLIOS!! I feel like I got a new handle on clarifying my different approaches for Tame Caricatures or Exaggerated Caricatures, and I figured that I'd best start checking it out with the one that just wasn't getting drawn quite Tame last night. But the reference photo was very Small ~ and that would be a problem with trying out tonight's approach. I make the reference picture Small when I prepare to show it along with the Caricature because I there's only a little bit of space where we see a post ~ and I want to focus more on the Caricature than on the reference photo.

So I went into my Computer's Trash to look for the original (Larger) Reference Photo ~ feeling like it's a needle in a haystack to actually turn up there. Because my Computer's Trash Automatically Empties every 30 days.

Even so, there were Thousands of Photos there in the Trash. I started looking through them. "Hmmmm..... these Caricatures look good," I thought. "I don't know why they're in the Trash. I don't remember posting them." I pulled a few out of the trash. Put them onto my Computer's Desktop.

Oh! it's because the Suffix is MOV instead of JPG. That happens a lot when I mindlessly press the wrong button on my Phone's Camera while Entertaining at an Event. When I get good Reactions, I like to snap a few quick Photos along with the Caricature that I drew.

My phone has Choices for things like Photo, Portrait, MOVIE....

Hmmm..... I wondered if I could just take a Still shot from the Movie. I slid these pictures into PhotoShop.

Oh! Now I remember. I remember why I automatically put all photos that have MOV Suffix (happens if I choose Movie instead of Photo) or AAE Suffix (happens if I use one of those Options for changing the Lighting) or an E before the Image Number (I don't know What that is. DO YOU? ANYBODY?). I feel uncomfortable about it, but I Think the AAE's and the E-before the Image Number pictures are Duplicates that I would also have in my main list of JPG's. And I thought Oh the MOV's that I take by mistake ~ result in me just losing the opportunity to use SO MANY PICTURES. These really looked intriguing. Hundreds of them here just in This Month's Trash??

I slid a couple of the MOV's into PhotoShop. Yes ~ I remember ~ I just see a big Green Rectangle instead of an Image Or a Movie. Gone. The pictures are Gone.

But tonight I figured out a way to make even more work for me. I could Open (thereby Enlarging) each MOV on the Desktop, take a Screenshot, and Slide the Screenshot into PhotoShop. So I can make my usual posts of my Caricature with a little Reference Picture in the Corner.

I'm probably not going to do all that. I hope I don't make mistakes when I snap those Quick Photos
