A Small Party
This was a small Party. In a small house.
By small house, I mean, the ceilings were a little shorter than most houses. Made me think of a few funny shows where the idea of low ceilings was caricatured. Some lizards that the main character visits in “Men in Black”. And one of the early tv shows of “Keeping Up Appearances”. There I was, flashing on those funny shows, and I look over to the front door. This is actually the real scene I saw:
I’m happy for all the places I go -
whether a big corporate event in a Catering Hall
or a down-to-earth Party in a Small Home.
