Caricature Express

I’m dreaming of getting a Wacum Tablet again. That idea, always floating nearby, gets intense every once in a while. Ah, if only. But they’re so expensive. And the learning curve…..

Ok. So at least I have PhotoShop. Here are some pictures that had previously been posted on my website here - but tonight I played around with them in PhotoShop. Even though using the mouse is like drawing with a block of soap, I still love to do it.

body/hobby takes longer to do than face-only.
and it also cuts into the play an Artist can do on the face.
I do it when I’m asked, but I really think that Face-only is better for Parties.
If you ask my opinion about it, I’d recommend leaving the Life-Stories to the Studio Caricatures.

Still, we all had a blast at this Party.

I usually ‘turn on’ as soon as I enter a party. But this one felt off - too many circumstances that just, aghk. I took photographs as usual, though, and I think
I like’m. Sorta. Anyway, if this be an off-day, I understand why I’m usually blown away by the wow of my pictures. I’m just as surprised at what comes out as the audience is:

I don’t usually get a chance to photograph the first responses - I’m involved in delivering the picture. But sometimes it lasts into the point where I’m photographing the person.
