Alexander

It’s no one in particular, but I liked what I saw when I came into the Office today. I had drawn these 2 pictures last night while watching the movie ‘Alexander’.

It intrigues me that the style would be perfect if I was going to make an animation of this movie.

There was an intriguing soliloquy at the end of the
movie. Slightly paraphrased, here’s basically what
it said. After watching hours of marching men attacking
each other with blood and gore along with the intrigue
of poisinings:

………..What did we have to look forward to
but to be discarded in the end? To give away
our wealth to sycophants who despised? Mixing
the races? Harmony? Bah.
………. Oh, he talked of these things, but wasn’t it
really about Alexander? And another population
ready to obey him?
………I never believed in his dreams. None of us did.
That’s the truth of his life. The dream must exhaust
us. They must die before they kill us with their blasted
dreams.
